Basic conditions for Japanese labor export

Age

The technical trainee program in Japan, also known as Japanese labor export, has certain conditions on the age of the workers.

To participate, all trainees (employees) must be at least 18 years old, and the age to be taken will depend on each order and each different industry.

Normally, the age to join the Japanese labor trade will be from 18 to 36 years old. The easiest age to go to Japan to work abroad is from 19 to 30 years old.

The orders will require high skills and professional qualifications. Some 1-year orders or bulk orders will often expand the age requirement such as: laundry, agriculture, construction, garment... The age for people in this industry group will be limited from 18-40 years old.

Professional qualifications, cultural qualifications

Compulsory requirements from the regulations of the Japanese government, in order to participate in labor export, workers are required to graduate from high school. In addition, depending on the requirements of each Japanese company recruiting will require high school, intermediate school, college or university.

Height, weight and appearance

To participate in labor export, interns need to achieve the following minimum height and weight:

For female: weighing 43kg or more, height 1.50m or more

For men: weight 50kg or more, height 1.60m or more

In addition, most labor export occupations require interns without tattoos.

Never applied for a visa to Japan, never participated in a technical trainee program before
