In pursuing the goal of becoming a high income nation by 2045, Vietnam should accelerate the annual GDP growth rate to 8%. However, high-quality human resource is a challenge while university education and vocational training are not keeping up with the world development. The wave of technology innovation and global integration are spreading across all the countries posed huge challenges and pressure to Vietnamese workers to be more hardly competitive. Indeed, high-quality human recourse is crucial need whether it is served to escape "middle income trap", to catch up technological trends, to attract more FDIs or make domestic businesses more sustainable.
