REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate programs (certificates, associate degrees, and bachelor's degrees):

  • Graduated from high school and will be 17 years old at the start of the first semester;

and • Minimum high school average of 60%;

and • Grade 11 Math average score of at least 60%

Postgraduate programs (postgraduate certificate - 1 year and 2 years):

  • • 3-year or 4-year bachelor's degree;

and • • Minimum cumulative university average score of 60%

ENGLISH COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Students will need to demonstrate English language proficiency when applying for admission to Douglas College by providing one of the following qualifications (other factors may also be considered):

  • Grade 12 English at a British Columbia high school: minimum grade C.
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum total score 83; Douglas College's school code is 9568.
  • IELTS (Academic Test): minimum total score 6.5.

For graduate programs, the score for each skill is not less than 6.0.

  • Complete an English course (ELLA) at Douglas College - 4 ACE English classes level 2 and 3 ACE English classes level 3.

Note: If you do not meet the English language requirement, you can apply to the English Language Acquisition and Learning program or one of the ESL Pathways partners.
