Determine majors, levels and admission requirements at schools

What major do you plan to study in Canada? Do you want to study College, University or Post-graduate? From there you can filter out schools with the majors and study systems you desire. Then you look more specifically at the location, tuition, living costs, and entry requirements of the schools to choose the school that best suits you. If you want to immigrate to Canada, you need to pay attention to choosing fields of study that are being prioritized by the government for settlement.

Financial preparation

To study abroad you need to prove financial eligibility. What are the financial documents? You need to prepare this carefully. At the same time, you also need to build a financial plan for the entire course. Includes tuition, living expenses, airfare to visit home and provisions.

Prepare your student visa application

This is an important step, deciding whether or not you can study abroad. These procedures are not too complicated, but you should ask for guidance from a study abroad consulting unit to get an accurate and complete set of documents to be approved by the Canadian Consulate. Basic documents include:

• Letter of admission from a school in Canada
• Passport is still valid
• Documents proving finances to study in Canada
• Explanatory letter
• Luggage needs to be prepared before leaving

Paper records

The first thing is that you need to prepare your identification documents and admission documents carefully to avoid mistakes that can cause unnecessary trouble later. AMP has prepared for you a list of documents to bring for your reference:

• Identification documents: Passport and student visa
• Study documents: Letter of Acceptance (LOA) of admission from the school, tuition payment documents, documents sent to you by the Consulate when they approve the visa
• Airline tickets
• Health documents
• Certificate of immunity and vaccination
• Prescription and backup eyeglasses (if you are nearsighted)
• Medical and dental records (if any)
• Other documents: Birth certificate 1-2 Vietnamese copies and notarized translation

         - High school/College/University transcript

         - Academic records, diploma (copy and translation)

• Accommodation information in Canada, contact person information + airport pick-up confirmation
• Cash CAD or USD

Note that you should make an additional copy of all documents and scan the original to save in email in case you need to use it.

Prepare your luggage

You prepare your luggage according to the allowed weight of the airline (usually 23kg/package). Essential items to bring include: phone, laptop, battery charger, power outlet, medicine, clothes, personal hygiene items, etc. You should check the weather in advance of your destination to prepare appropriate clothing. To prevent your luggage from getting lost, you should keep important items and enough for 1-2 days in your carry-on bag.

Check your personal luggage and flight luggage regulations, absolutely do not bring banned substances, stimulants, explosives, toxins, weapons and other harmful objects on the plane.
